The Nexus is a science fiction country in the science fiction world created by Roger John Hobbs. A few hundred years in the future there is a new form of government: electronic kleptocracy. Corporations control entire countries through computer systems, which pander to a distant, unseen consumer.  Most workers accept their corporate demigods, but a few workers won't buy the chemical food or the corporate telivision.

Some workers want freedom.
