Whats It About?

The number one question asked in any bookstore or in any conversation about science fiction is "what is [the book] about?" This page is devoted to explaining what is the World of the Flood Tribes.

War. Crime. Freedom.

These are the three pillars of The Orange Day Rebellion. Step one: You’ll fight a war. Step two: You’ll commit a crime. Step three: You’ll win your freedom.

Sahara Jehu wants to start a revolution and with the help of a few new friends, she thinks she can finally pull it off. In a few hundred years, the government is a corrupt theocracy, and oppression and repression rule the day. However, almost as soon as Sahara forms a rebel army, a mysterious man who calls himself Mach Lornness sends troops to kill her at her own wedding.

Calling an emergency meeting, she only has a few hours to find out who betrayed her before the revolution fails forever. But was it the mentally unstable pharmacist William Refrain? Could it be the hotheaded Essence Athee or his Marx-obsessed brother, Felix? Or was it James Morgan, a silent terrorist with delusions of grandeur?

Sahara’s back, and this time the clock is ticking.
